i think that that's a very perceptive interpretation ;)

it's as poetic as it's sensitive -- especially the link ("scraping the sky") between trees and stars -- it actually establishes a circular (or perhaps a spiral) relationship between the two kinds of nature, the small and the large. in turn, this could be a hint at the insignificance of size, and the relative insignificance of what's going in the city trapped within the spiral.

anyways. i hope everything is okay with you. :)

thanks again for stopping by, my dear friend.

thank you for everything.

Just one more thing -
the movement.
the "still night skies" aren't so still...
the stars are alive, dancing, falling, warring, pirouetting...
he paints them in their own time-scale, that's how fast life passes him by - he noticed the stars move in their orbits...
yet the houses and all that is bursting with life and change during the day stays still, quiet, it is ignored or just isn't worth noticing...
a way to show that people and all that is created by men repeats itself and remains the same - meager and unimportant, whilst the universe lives, matures, and wheels on an entirely different scale...
and hope is pointed out by nature scarping the sky with it's green-nailed fingers.
